PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser processing apparatus capable of surely radiating laser beam having a predetermined intensity to a predetermined position of a workpiece.SOLUTION: The laser processing apparatus includes a fiber laser oscillator which radiates laser beam to a workpiece, a pulse generator which outputs pulse signal to the fiber laser oscillator, a controller which outputs a laser generation signal to the pulse generator, and a laser monitor which detects intensity of the laser beam outputted from the fiber laser oscillator. The pulse generator outputs a pulse signal based on the laser generation signal from the controller and stores duration time of the laser generation signal. The pulse generator sets a time point at which the intensity of the laser beam detected by the laser monitor reaches a predetermined intensity at the time of starting laser output, and continuously outputs the pulse signal from the start of laser output until the time period corresponding to the time duration of the laser generation signal expires. |
