PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot rolled steel sheet for die quench which efficiently controls oxidation when heated in die quench and scale peeling during hot working, and obtains high rigidity (specific Young's modulus) after die quench molding.SOLUTION: The hot rolled steel sheet for die quench includes, in mass%, 0.05% or less of C, 0.02-0.5% of Si, 0.01-1.0% of Mn, 0.025% or less of P, 0.001% or less of S, 0.01-0.10% of Al, 0.003% or less of N, 4-10% of Ti, 2-5% of B, 0.001-0.01% of Sb, and 0.02-0.40% of Zr, with the balance comprising unavoidable impurities and Fe. |
