PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To well and equally image a holding component of a plurality of heads sideways arrayed in two rows.SOLUTION: The component imaging device includes a head unit 6 containing a plurality of heads 16A and 16B arrayed in two rows, front and rear, a component imaging unit 8 containing a camera 30, an illuminating part 32, and an optical system 34, and a control device. The heads 16A and 16B are offset from each other in X direction. The optical system 34 includes a first light guide part 34A in which an optical path length is set such that an image focused on the holding component of the front row head 16A is available and a second light guide part 34B in which an optical path length is set such that an image focused on the holding component of the rear row head 16B is available. The control device shifts the head unit 6 relative to the component imaging unit 8 in X direction, for imaging the holding component of the heads 16A and 16B. At that time, exposure timing or the like is controlled so that a component image is introduced into the camera 30 by the light guide part corresponding to the head which holds a component to be imaged. |
