PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe oil-in-water type emulsified composition for cosmetics exhibiting fresh and refreshing sense of use without using any surfactant and achieving excellent long-term stability.SOLUTION: The oil-in-water type emulsified composition for cosmetics includes, as constituents: an oil phase containing (A) partially hydrophobized silica fine particles and (B) hydrophobized particle titanium oxide; and a water phase containing (C) a water-soluble polymer and (D) clay minerals. In the oil-in-water type emulsified composition, its emulsion is stabilized principally by adsorbing the constituents (A) and (B) to the oil-water interface.
