PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a smooth detachment of a developer container, and prevent reading defects from an information storage part in attachment over a long period of time.SOLUTION: A developer supply device comprises: a container attachment part 70 provided in a device body 100A; and developer containers 32 (Y, M, C, K) detachable from the container attachment part, including developers inside thereof, and provided with information storage means 135 (Y, M, C, K); and reading parts 173 (Y, M, C, K) of the information storage means provided in the container attachment part side. Magnetic materials 121 (Y, M, C, K) are provided in either of the container attachment part or the developer containers, and magnetic force generation means 120 (Y, M, C, K) are provided in the other of the container attachment part or the developer containers so that the container attachment part 70 and the developer containers 32 (Y, M, C, K) are fixed to each other by magnetic force of the magnetic generation means when the developer containers are attached to the container attachment part. |
