PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a carvone nitrile that is convenient, high efficient, and industrially dominant.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing a carvone nitrile shown by formula (2) is characterized as follows. Carvone and hydrogen cyanide are each independently supplied in parallel to the mixture of an organic acid salt and an amide compound in such a way that the ratio of the feeding mole speed of the hydrogen cyanide to the feeding mole speed of the carvone is in the range of 0.6-1.7.
