This alkali-free glass is characterized by having a glass composition that contains, in mol%, 60-70% of SiO2, 9.5-17% of Al2O3, 0-9% of B2O3, 0-8% of MgO, 2-15% of CaO, 0.1-10% of SrO and 0.5-4% of BaO, with the molar ratio (CaO + SrO + BaO)/Al2O3 being 0.6-1.0. This alkali-free glass is also characterized by not substantially containing an alkali metal oxide. |
