The invention provides a register mapping method that is capable of improving register access performance in a virtualized system. This method comprises: a step for preparing a register pool (S1); a step for preparing a mapping table wherein, for each mapping register in the register pool, register ID information and information relating to parameters representing operation statuses in the virtualized system are set (S2); steps for acquiring a register ID for a register to be accessed at the time of a register access request by a hardware thread and parameter information for parameters representing operation statuses during operation (S3, S4); and steps for setting a mapping register as the register to access in response to the register access request (S5 to S8), said mapping register being a register for which the acquired register ID and parameter information match a register ID in the mapping table and the corresponding parameter information thereof. |
