A display control apparatus for allocating one display image to one display area of a plurality of display areas on a screen of a vehicle-mounted display device by performing a prescribed operation for the plurality of display areas, including: a display image management unit for storing image information related to the display image, a display area management unit for storing area information related to the display area; an essential-exclusive-information storage unit for storing essential exclusive information for defining a plurality of display image combinations so as to include each of the display images; and a display image allocation control unit. The display image allocation control unit, on the basis of the essential exclusive information, defines the display image combinations and creates a display image combination list; and allocates the display image to the display area on the basis of the display image combination list. |
