<p>A grommet for attaching, to a panel, a member to be attached has a barrel (40) in which a threaded hole (60) is formed. A pair of legs (50) is provided to the outside of the barrel (40). A head (20) is provided at one end of the barrel (40) so as to protrude to the outside of the barrel (40), and has an opening which connects to the threaded hole (60) and thin-wall sections (22) which are formed in a thin-wall shape at a pair of corners located on a diagonal line of the head (20). The grommet (10) is configured so that the member to be attached is placed on the surface of the head (20), a screw is inserted into the opening, and the member to be attached is screwed to the head (20). The engagement sections (52) of the legs (50) are adapted to be engaged with the edge of a hole in the panel. The thin-wall sections (22) are configured so as to include positions axially above at least a part of each of the engagement sections (52).</p> |
