A catalytic combustor (2) used in a gas turbine engine (GT) comprises: a casing (54) that accommodates a catalyst carrier (10) therein; a catalyst holding body (62) that is disposed between the casing (54) and the catalyst carrier (10) so as to hold the outer peripheral surface of the catalyst carrier (10) on the inner peripheral surface of the casing (54), and prevents a processing gas (G2) from passing through the outer periphery of the catalyst carrier (10) and leaking downstream; a support material (64) that is positioned on the downstream side in the processing gas flow direction in the catalyst carrier (10), and holds the catalyst carrier (10); and a downstream-side regulating member (72) that is positioned on the downstream side of the catalyst holding body (62), and prevents movement in the processing gas flow direction.
