Provided are: a relay device capable of substituting a routing table in order to be compatible with a variety of relay variations, and capable of saving the storage capacity of the routing table; a communications harness including the relay device; and a communications system including the relay device. The relay device stores, in a flash memory (35) wherein information can be overwritten, a routing program (38) for a CPU to execute relay processing; and the routing table (37) for specifying a relay destination during relay processing. The routing table (37) includes: a first table that manages whether or not information is for relaying; a second table that stores received CAN messages; a third table that stores CAN messages to be sent (relayed); a fourth table that manages signal storage positions; and a fifth table that manages the number of effective records in the second to fourth tables.
