ANTI-SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION AGENT FOR COAL AND ANTI-SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION METHOD USING IT

PURPOSE: A spontaneous ignition inhibitor for coal, and a spontaneous ignition inhibiting method for coal using the same are provided to be able to be manufactured in a simple and economic manner while recycling the industrial waste by using pulp type fibers which are manufactured by recycling waste paper and ash generated after the combustion of coal. CONSTITUTION: A spontaneous ignition inhibitor for coal comprises 15-40 weight% of ash, 5-25 weight% of a surface hardener and the residual portion of water. The surface hardener is manufactured by mixing 20-50 weight% of solid material of polymer having adhesive components, 3-10 weight% of polyvinyl alcohol, 2-5 weight% of pulp type fibers, and the residual portion of water. The solid material is any one among lignin, molasses, starch, lignosulfonate, and their mixture. The spontaneous ignition inhibitor is used by being coated on the surface layer of the coal.
