PURPOSE: A gas leakage detection device is provided to easily detect a gas leakage even in underground by easily positioning a gas detection unit at a desired position as each rod of a load unit is drawn out and extended at necessary length. CONSTITUTION: A gas leakage detection device(10) comprises a rod unit(20), a gas detection unit(30), a control unit(40), a wire portion(50), a handle(60), and a power unit(70). The length of the load unit is varied. The gas detection unit is installed on the top of the load unit and detects gas. The control unit is installed inside the load unit and connected to the gas detection unit. The control unit calculates signals of the gas detection unit, thereby outputting a gas detection result. The wire portion electrically connecting the gas detection unit and the control unit is extended and reduced according to the length of the load unit. The handle is installed in the lower part of the load unit. The power unit is installed in the inside of the handle and supplies necessary power. |
