<p>Provided is an absorbent article, comprising a surface sheet, a rear face sheet, and an absorbent body interposed between these sheets. The surface sheet further comprises first protrusion parts which protrude toward a first face side of a liquid-supply side and which are provided with interior spaces, and second protrusion parts which protrude toward a second face side which is opposite to the first face side and which are provided with interior spaces. The first and second protrusion parts are respectively positioned alternating contiguously in different directions intersecting in plan view across the entire face of the surface sheet, and are provided with ring-structure wall parts between the second protrusion part peaks and opening parts thereof. The wall parts have a fibrous orientation in a direction in which the second protrusion part peaks and the apertures thereof are joined. The absorbent body further comprises first basis weight parts, and second basis weight parts which have lower basis weights than the first basis weight parts and which surround the first basis weight parts. The absorbent body further comprises groove-shaped depression parts which are positioned in contact with the second protrusion part peaks of the surface sheet, which make hollows from the rear face sheet side to the surface sheet side, and which extend in at least the longitudinal direction with the second basis weight parts as the bottom face thereof. At least a portion of the adjacent first and second protrusion parts and the depression parts are positioned in locations of mutual facing with the second basis weight parts interposed therebetween.</p> |
