<p>The present invention relates to a method and a server for providing a compensation item service in an online game, and a method for providing the compensation item service in the online game, according to one embodiment of the present invention, comprises the steps of: a game operation server detecting the end of an online game from a user terminal, and providing to the user terminal a compensation item selection menu as a compensation according to a game result; receiving from the user terminal an inputted selection with respect to one compensation item from a plurality of compensation items that are included in the compensation item selection menu; determining whether the compensation item that corresponds to the received inputted selection is a compensation item that corresponds to a predetermined event; providing an event entry menu to the user terminal as a menu providing an option for participating in the event when the compensation item that is selected is the compensation item that corresponds to the event; and transmitting a message to the user terminal indicating completion of participation in the event when an inputted selection with respect to the event entry menu is received from the user terminal.</p> |
