POWDER FORM OIL-FREE MAKEUP COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING DIATOMACEOUS EARTH AND STARCH

PURPOSE: A powder form oil-free makeup cosmetic composition containing diatomite and starch is provided to prevent dust scattering and skin dryness without oil which causes skin trouble and inflammatory on sensitive skin. CONSTITUTION: A powder form makeup cosmetic composition contains 1.0-50.0 wt% of diatomite and 1.0-30.0 wt% of starch. The starch is selected from the group consisting of sweet potato starch, potato starch, rice starch, corn starch, tapioca starch, and sago starch. The diatomite has a grain size of 3-10 micrometer, an oil absorption of 1.8-2.5 cc/g, and a specific surface area of 40.0-60.0 m^2/g. The starch has a particle size of 3-10 micrometer, an oil absorption of 0.7-1.3 cc/g, and a specific surface area of 30.0-50.0 m^2/g.
