PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of reliably cooling a part to be cooled with a cooling air from a fan without changing an installation location of the fan.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes: an apparatus body 2 that accommodates a part 18 to be cooled that develops heat in association with an image forming operation and a fan 40 that blows a cooling air to the part 18 to be cooled; and a unit that is detachably attached to the apparatus body 2. The apparatus body 2 includes: a first air inlet 46 that communicates with the fan 40, and exposes to the outside while the unit is detached from the apparatus body 2; and a second air inlet that communicates with the fan 40 via a duct 47, and exposes to the outside while the unit is attached to the apparatus body 2. |
