PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component for an artificial joint, capable of reducing time, labor and costs required for manufacturing, reducing burdens on a patient, suppressing breakage such as fracture and increasing connection force with a bone of the patient.SOLUTION: A stem 4 is formed by sintering biocompatible metal powder. The stem 4 includes a long stem body 6 to be inserted to the thighbone, and a neck part extending from a proximal part of the stem body 6. In the inside of the stem body 6, at least a part including a distal part 9 is provided with a porous part 14. |
