PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust cover for a ball joint capable of effectively solving a problem that cracks are generated on a large diameter opening of the dust cover, without deteriorating sealing performance at a large diameter opening side.SOLUTION: In the dust cover for a ball joint made of an elastic material wherein a ball head section formed on one end of a ball stud is held in a socket, a shaft at the other end of the ball stud is tightened and fixed to a knuckle, a large diameter opening section having an approximately U-shaped cross section on one end is fixed to and held by a double winding circlip in an annular groove section partitioned and formed by a flange section on an outer circumferential surface of the socket, and the small diameter opening section on the other end is held by the shaft, a small diameter stepped section is arranged on a bottom section at a flange section side of an annular storage groove for storing the double winding circlip of the large diameter opening section. |
