PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine in which torque ripple can be reduced while preventing reduction in torque, and to provide the rotor of a rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A rotor 4 of an electric motor 1 is disposed radially inward of the stator 3, and attached rotatably in the motor housing 2. In the vicinity of outer peripheral edge of a rotor core 41, a plurality of rotor magnets 42a-42h are buried. A first magnet group NL1, a second magnet group NL2, a third magnet group NL3 and a fourth magnet group NL4 are formed, respectively, of a pair of adjoining rotor magnets 42a-42h. For the state where all rotor magnets 42a-42h are arranged uniformly in the circumferential direction, the adjoining magnet groups NL1, NL4, and NL2, NL3 are formed at positions shifted oppositely from each other by the same angle in the circumferential direction. |
