When a shifting command is received, a rotational frequency of the electric motor 3 such that a difference of rotational frequencies of an input side and an output side of the two-way roller clutch 44B of the next speed stage becomes a predetermined target value larger than zero is calculated on the basis of a rotational frequency of the output shaft 32, and after the electric motor 3 is accelerated or decelerated using the rotational frequency as the target value, the two-way roller clutch 44B of the next speed stage is engaged.
