PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control device that has a small size and high maneuverability and is able to correct parallel vibration highly accurately.SOLUTION: The vibration control device 106 incorporated in an optical instrument comprises: a vibration correcting part 110 configured such that an image blur resulting from the vibration of the optical instrument is corrected by moving a correction member; a first vibration detecting part 108p configured to detect the angular velocity of vibration; a second vibration detecting part 109p configured to detect vibration in a way different from the first vibration detecting part; a position detecting part 309 that detects the inclined position of the optical instrument; an arithmetic part 312 configured to calculate a correction value, which is an amount of the movement of a correction member, from a first signal based on output from the first vibration detecting part, a second signal based on output from the second vibration detecting part, and a position determination value based on the position detecting part; and an output part 313 configured to correct output from the first vibration detecting part using the correction value. Based on the correlation between the first signal based on the output from the first vibration detecting part and the second signal based on the output from the second vibration detecting part, the arithmetic part assigns a weight to a correction value for the drive shaft of the vibration correcting mechanism by each position determination value. |
