PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that it takes time to recover failure and impedes operation because maintenance persons collect different types of logs and it is difficult to transmit a correct current situation in inquiring of a support desk.SOLUTION: A monitoring server which monitors a monitoring target connected to a network, comprises: a log analysis unit for analyzing an operation log of the monitoring target; a log storage unit for storing the log analyzed by the log analysis unit; and a control unit for controlling the log analysis unit and the log storage unit, and exchanging information with the monitoring terminal or network devices to be connected. The monitoring server transmits monitoring packets to request a response concerning an operation condition to the monitoring target at arbitrary timing or predetermined timing. When monitoring packets for reporting occurence of abnormality are sent back from the monitoring target, the monitoring server collects the operation log from the monitoring target, stores the operation log in the log storage unit, and analyzes the operation log stored in the log storage unit by the log analysis unit. |
