PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spike sole for athletics which is capable of achieving a smooth load transfer from an outside instep side to an inside instep side when landing.SOLUTION: In the spike sole for athletics 1 in which a plurality of spike pins 2 to 5 are arranged in a forefoot region of a sole bottom surface 1A, in a region corresponding to a hypothenar eminence of the foot of a wearer in the sole bottom surface 1A, a pair of long and short spike pins 2 and 3 substantially spaced apart in a longitudinal direction is arranged, a first spike pin 2 being relatively short is arranged rearward and a second spike pin 3 being relatively long is arranged forward, and other spike pins are not provided between the first and second spike pins 2 and 3. The first spike pin 2 is arranged in a position corresponding to an initial landing position during running and the second spike pin 3 is arranged in a position closer to the outside instep than the first spike pin 2. |
