PURPOSE: A control system of an electric car and a method thereof are provided to easily control a driving prediction distance by indicating a drivable prediction distance according to power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A power consumption detection unit (404) detects first power consumption and second power consumption. A control unit (401) determines a first driving prediction distance corresponding to the first power consumption. The control unit determines a second driving prediction distance corresponding to the second power consumption. A display unit (403) indicates first and second drivable prediction distances. The indication is indicated in a graph.
