PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear light source unit capable of securing adhesion between a circuit board with a light emitting element mounted thereon and a heat sink for a long period and rendering high reliability, and to provide a planar light source unit.SOLUTION: A linear light source unit 10 includes a plurality of light emitting elements 2, a rectangular circuit board 1 with the plurality of light emitting elements 2 mounted along a length direction, and a heat sink 7 with the circuit board 1 mounted thereon. The heat sink 7 includes a concave part 70 for accommodating the circuit board 1 and a pressing part 71 which is formed integrally with the heat sink 7 and formed along a length direction of the circuit board 1 in order to press down the circuit board 1. The light emitted from the linear light source unit 10 is guided to a planar light guide plate 90 to compose a planar light source unit 20. |
