PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an extensible sheet, enabling to continuously manufacture extensible sheets each having improved permeability and flexibility by disposing string-like elastic bodies in an expanding state to one sheet.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an extensible sheet includes embedding and fixing string-like elastic bodies 4 applied with an adhesive 5 to pleats 3 extending in the y-direction of a base material sheet 2. In this method, the base material sheet 2 is subjected to emboss processing in advance, and the embossed base material sheet 2 is conveyed to the circumferential surface of a grooved roller 12 in which grooves 121 over the entire circumferential surface are provided at positions corresponding to the pleats 3. Subsequently, the string-like elastic bodies 4 extending in the y-direction and applied with the adhesive 5 are conveyed to positions corresponding to the grooves 121 of the grooved roller 12 on the base material sheet 2, the base material sheet 2 is allowed to enter the grooves 121 of the grooved roller 12 so as to enclose the string-like elastic bodies 4, and the string-like elastic bodies 4 are embedded and fixed to the base material sheet 2 by using the adhesive 5, thereby forming the extensible sheet 1. |
