PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compatible a one position folding with a two position folding.SOLUTION: This sheet processing device includes a pair of pinching and pressing rollers 41, 42 which are allowed to move in the direction toward and away from each other, and a pushing device 63 which pushes a sheet to advance the sheet between the pinching and pressing rollers for folding the sheet. The pushing device includes a pushing part 70 which pushes the sheet and constituted of a plurality of pushing plates 71, 72, 72 stacked on each other, and a thickness changing part 64 which changes the thickness of the distal end part of the pushing part advancing between the pinching and pressing rollers by selecting the pushing plates so that the rear part of the sheet folded by the pushing of the pushing part can be formed in either the one position folding or the two position folding. The thickness changing part selects the pushing plates so that, when the rear part of the sheet is formed in the two position folding by the pushing part, the thickness of the distal end part of the pushing part is thicker than formed in the one position folding. |
