PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic transmission type sand control dam which hardly causes swell-head even when a width of a river bed is wide, is capable of surely capturing debris flow and also suppressing outflow of a large amount of sediment from a grid-like wall, is also inexpensive and is excellent in workability as well.SOLUTION: Extension parts 10b and 11b as holding parts for respectively holding both ends of a first grid-like wall 17 are provided on respective inner side face sides 10a and 11a of left and right non-overflow parts 10 and 11, an extension member 15d extending downwards is provided on a lower end side of the first gird-like wall 17, a distal end of the extension member 15d is fixed to a foundation part 12, diagonal members 50 and 51 extending obliquely upwards are provided from a downstream side of the foundation part 12 to the first grid-like wall 17, and the diagonal members 50 and 51 are fixed to the first grid-like wall 17. |
