PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both an increase in magnetic field intensity and reduction of a residual magnetic field.SOLUTION: An electrode for vacuum circuit breaker is characterized in including a slit which is inclined from an opening part-side end face of a pot-shaped conductor at a cylinder part of the pot-shaped conductor, and including a slit connecting with the inclined slit and extending at right angles to the opening part-side end face of the pot-shaped conductor. Specifically, relation 3.0≥(H+L)/H>1.5 is satisfied, where H is the distance from the opening part-side end face of the pot-shaped conductor to an inclined slit end and L is the length of the vertical slit. |
