PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience and productivity when an assembling worker handles a flexible printed circuit board by manual operations.SOLUTION: A printer 1 includes: a control board 170 for controlling an optical sensor 35; and a flexible printed circuit board 200 including an element arrangement section 201 for arranging the optical sensor 35, and a connection extension section 202 extendedly provided so as to connect the element arrangement section 201 and the control board 170. The element arrangement section 201 has a high-rigidity portion Z including a base layer 201c, a metal pattern layer 201b, an insulator layer 201a, and a reinforcing plate layer 201d, and has low-rigidity portions Y1 and Y2 which include missing regions t1 and t2 in which at least the reinforcing plate layer 201d is missing and have low rigidity. The low-rigidity portions Y1 and Y2 are provided on at least one portion between a tip portion 200A on the opposite side to the connection extension section 202 and the optical sensor 35. |
