PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient image forming system which can prevent information leakage and also can immediately obtain printed matter in an emergency.SOLUTION: An image forming system comprises a plurality of MFPs 300, a server computer 200, and a client computer 100. The server computer 200 has a function to set a specific MFP 300 as a default machine among the plurality of MFPs 300, and determines whether the default machine is set on receiving a print instruction from the clinet computer 100. When the default machine is set, and if the default machine is specified as the MFP 300 to execute printing, the server computer 200 transmits print data to the MFP 300. When the default machine is not set and the default machine is not specified, the server computer 200 saves the print data in a hard disk 240. |
