PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of suppressing the deterioration of reluctance torque.SOLUTION: An outer peripheral surface 15 of a field element core 10 has 4n magnetic poles (n is a natural number) formed by permanent magnets 11. An armature 3 includes 3n teeth 32. In the positional relationship in which a boundary (an interpole) between two of the magnetic poles adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction matches the center in the circumferential direction of one of the teeth 32, in the circumferential direction, and in the state where the armature 3 and a field element 1 face each other, a distance dx between a surface 333 on a side of a wiring 35 of a flange portion 332 belonging to the one of the teeth 32, and a composite of a tangent line B1 of a surface 13a at the middle point M1 in a circumferential direction and a surface 12a of an outer peripheral surface side of a first hole portion 12 takes a minimum value d0 at an edge portion 334 on the surface 333 opposite to an extension portion 331. |
