PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater that can ensure constant and stable communication response without being affected by a communication volume.SOLUTION: A water heater includes: a communication device 4 for transmitting and receiving data to/from a network 2; a collision detector 5 for detecting the presence of communication data collision on the network 2 when the communication device 4 transmits data; and a priority communication determiner 6 for shortening, when the collision of communication detected by the collision detector 5 has occurred more than a predetermined number of times during the communication of the same data, a communication check time when the collided data is to be transmitted again to thereby transmit the collided data. |
