<p>Improvement to an insert for bevelling pipes with four and eight cutting edges and, further, with the possibility of re-sharpening (recycling) of the worn edges, using a support with interchangeable wedges, having functional, volumetric remodelling allowing the use not only of four-edge but also of eight-edge cutting platforms, resulting in a product that affords a saving in terms of inserts and also the use of re-sharpened inserts, and which is constituted essentially by a rectangular volumetric configuration (1) having two transverse holes (2), an inclined supporting base (3), and a wedge (4) thereon secured by means of screws (5) which serves as height-levelling base for the cutting inserts (6) secured to the support by means of screws (7).</p> |
