PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery capable of forming a small particle size active material layer on the surface of a mixture layer without requiring a coating step a plurality of times, while enhancing the capacity retention rate after cycle endurance.SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery where a mixture layer 30 is formed on a collector foil by coating a web-like collector foil 3 with a slurry paste produced by dissolving a mixture containing active materials 1, 2 into a solvent, and then drying the paste in a drying step K, at least two kinds of active material of a small diameter active material 2 and a large diameter active material 1 are dispersed into the paste, and in the drying step, the small diameter active material 2 is distributed unevenly to the surface layer of the mixture layer 30 by a flow of the solvent F which is on the collector foil 3 side, and moves to the mixture layer surface side when evaporating. |
