PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding machine capable of reducing a frequency of replenishment of a supplied object to a storage container for storing supplied objects without installing an emptiness sensor.SOLUTION: In supply operation in a feeding machine 1, material is discharged from a supply hopper 2 by a screw feeder 6. If the supply operation is performed, a storage amount of material in the supply hopper 2 is reduced. By transportation of material to the supply hopper 2 by a transport mechanism 4, material can be replenished to the supply hopper 2. The transport operation by the transport mechanism 4 is not performed at every supply operation unlike a conventional feeding machine but is performed on the basis of transport timing decided from a transport requesting discharge amount WT. The transport requesting discharge amount WT is set to a material amount that can be maximally discharged from the supply hopper 2 without causing shortage from a set amount Win a measurement result of the discharge amount in a measuring hopper 3 with reference to a state where material is stored in the supply hopper 2 to the full level. |
