PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for preventing articles stored in a storage space from falling down or jumping out when an earthquake or other vibration occurs.SOLUTION: The apparatus has a pair of base members 5 attached to the inner face front part of both the side plates 1 of storage furniture and a falling down preventing member 6 pivotally supported by the base members 5 and turning up and down, the base members 5 have pivotally supporting holes 7 which are longitudinally long hole in the lower parts thereof and pivotally supporting grooves 8 opening upward in the upper parts thereof, the falling down preventing member 6 comprises a horizontal bar 9 and turning arms 10 arranged in both the ends the horizontal bar 9, the turning arms 10 are provided with supporting shafts 10a in base ends and supporting parts 10b in turning ends, the supporting shaft parts 10a of the turning arms 10 are liftably pivotally supported by the pivotally supporting holes 7 of the base members 5, the supporting parts 10b of the turning arms 10 of the falling down preventing member 6 are supported by the pivotally supporting grooves 8 of the base members 5 with the falling down preventing member 6 raised and turned upward. |
