PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable modem network monitoring system that monitors connection status of cable modems and effectively displays a determined serious failure such as a wide area failure.SOLUTION: An alert candidate decision section 132 decides records satisfying a specific condition from among status information about cable modems received by a status information reception section 131, and registers them as alert candidates. If there are any groups of cable modems satisfying a predetermined selection criterion in the alert candidates, a connection status management section 133 decides them as alert objects, and a display data generation section 134 generates data for displaying a list of such decided groups. The selection criterion is, for example, that at least a specific number of network devices within a predetermined area transition offline within a specific period, and a group of cable modems satisfying the criterion is an alert object. |
