MOBILITY MANAGEMENT METHOD AND APPARATUS IN HIGH SPEED RAILWAY

The invention discloses a method of mobility management in high speed railway, comprising : identifying whether a User Equipment (UE) is a high speed railway UE; if the UE is identified as a high speed railway UE, obtaining a high speed railway neighbor cell list for the UE, wherein the high speed railway neighbor cell list only includes high speed railway cell; and triggering a fast and earlier cell reselection, or cell handover, or both. This improves the mobility handling for high speed railway UE, decreased dropping risk and better user experienced performance are also provided.
