PURPOSE: A wide-angle lens for lighting and a lighting device using the same are provided to be able to obtain a beam angle more than 160 degrees and a light efficiency more than 85%. CONSTITUTION: A lens unit (210) is arranged on a light emitting device (110) of a substrate (100). The lens unit has a beam angle more than 160 degrees and a light efficiency more than 90%. The lens unit comprises a cylindrical side (211) and a curved surface (212) formed in a hemispherical shape on the side. The diameter of the upper end of the side has a ratio of 2.8-2.9.
