PURPOSE: A food waste processing apparatus is provided to prevent the leakage of bad smell and harmful components generated from decaying food waste. CONSTITUTION: A food waste processing apparatus comprises the following: a food waste collecting container(10); a compression unit(15) with a pair of compression pulleys(16,18) rotating to the opposite direction, for compressing food waste discharged from the food waste collecting container by passing through the pulleys; a transfer unit(20); a first drying unit(22) spraying air to the food waste for drying; first and second heat medium pulleys(25,27); a belt(29) surrounding the heat medium pulleys; a second drying unit(24) including auxiliary pulleys(30,32,34) connected to the belt for drying the food waste using heat media of the heat medium pulleys; and a collector(40). |
