PURPOSE: A modeling device is provided to make a pipe for a marine structure have a diameter complying with a reference, thereby preventing the marine structure from sustaining damages due to pipe design error. CONSTITUTION: The input necessary for pipe design is stored in an information storage unit (110), and a calculation unit (120) calculates out an output value using the information sent by the information storage unit and a pipe's diameter. The output value calculated by the calculation unit (120) is displayed on a display unit (140). A comparison unit (130) compares the output value with the information stored in the information storage unit (110) in order to determine whether a pipe using the output value is appropriate to use. A control unit (150) controls each unit and displays the information provided on the display unit (140).
