PURPOSE: A hatch cover character welding device is provided to input shapes of welding characters and to reduce time and manpower which are spent on hatch cover character welding. CONSTITUTION: A hatch cover character welding device (100) includes a welding input display unit (10), a welding setting unit (40), a welding control unit (20), a font storage unit (30), and a welding drive unit (50). The welding setting unit sets the welding working condition of a hatch cover according to the welding character shape information which is input by a worker. The welding drive unit marks characters by using a welding bead according to the welding working condition of the hatch cover which is set by the welding setting unit. A welding input display unit inputs the welding character shape information, and comprises a touch screen which displays the input information on the outside.
