PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detecting device for performing abnormality detection based on the most appropriate threshold value by automatically setting the threshold value for detecting the abnormality even when distribution of the variation of physical quantity used for the determination of the abnormality detection is different from normal distribution.SOLUTION: The operation of a movable part is started and the current time or the position of the movable part are detected, the current physical quantity is detected and when the standard physical quantity is not stored yet, the standard physical quantity is stored correspondingly to the time or the position of the movable part. When the standard physical quantity is stored already, the deviation of the current physical quantity to the standard physical quantity is calculated and stored, a cycle counter (n) is updated, a distribution index value is calculated from the deviation of the physical quantity from first to n-th cycle and the threshold value is calculated from the distribution index value. When the deviation is larger than the threshold value, an alarm treatment is executed and when the deviation is not larger than the threshold value and the action of the movable part is not completed, the process is returned to a step SA02 and when the operation of the movable part is completed and the cycle is not finished, the process is returned to a step SA01, and the process is continued. |
