PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, when a fault difficult to restore occurs in a CPU core and main memory, an active system and a standby system may go down at the same time.SOLUTION: A multi-core processor includes plural CPU cores, and main memory accessible from the plural CPU cores. The active system program operates on a first CPU core, and occupies a first memory area of the main memory. The standby system program operates on a second CPU core, and occupies a second memory area which does not overlap with the first memory area, of the main memory. When detecting that a fault occurs in the active system program, the standby system program takes over operational processing. |
