The present invention addresses the problem of providing an effective drug-discovery technique for tough targets for which drug discovery has heretofore been difficult. The present invention pertains to the following: a novel peptide-compound cyclization method for solving the aforementioned problem; a novel peptide compound; and a library containing said method and compound.
