<p>The invention relates to the field of devices for sorting sheet-like record carriers on a rigid base (cardboard, plastic), in particular plastics banking cards. The technical result is an increase in capacity and sorting speed. The device for sorting rigid sheet-like record carriers comprises a record carrier loading module 1, a random-access intermediate storage module in the form of a drum 2, and a record carrier unloading module 3. The drum 2 comprises rows 4 having record carrier storage compartments, the rows being fixed on a spindle 5. The loading module 1 and the unloading module 3 are arranged on guides 6 around the drum 2, the unloading module 3 comprising record carrier extraction mechanisms 7 which are arranged in each row 4 of the drum 2, and each row 4 of the drum 2 contains three discs, the bottom one of which is a shelf on which the record carriers stand, and the two other discs are in the form of plastics racks holding the record carriers in a vertical position. The device is equipped with a control module 9 and a packaging module 10.</p> |
