PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phthalocyanine compound, which can form an image free of occurrence of a bronze phenomenon, having good hue while keeping image robustness, and achieving high image density; a phthalocyanine dye; a coloring composition containing the dye; an inkjet ink; and an inkjet recording method.SOLUTION: A compound such as exemplified by compound 2, for example, is used, in which three from four isoindole rings of phthalocyanine skeleton are rings having a sulfo group, and the residual one has at least one halogen.
